Speaking of which....
I'm trying my hand at creating a skirt out of my old curtains and a 1950's vintage pattern. With any luck I'll have all four pieces cut out by September. heh.

First Post...
Well it's the first post of this blog, and I can already tell I'm going to be horrible about regularly updating. I think procrastination is so deeply embedded in my DNA that I even put off personal projects that I've decided to do.
and here's the fabric from my curtains (I bought them one of my favorite stores, Anthropologie, but they did an awful job of keeping the light out):

ReplyDeleteI'm the same, I have lots and lots of never ending projects in my closet. But I do finish some of them eventually :)
The fabric looks lovely. I either think of 'The Sound of Music' or 'Gone With the Wind' when I think of someone making clothes out of curtains. Hehe.
